The Legend of Vox Machina on Prime Video is a new animated series from Critical Role, a group of "nerdy ass voice actors" who play Dungeons and Dragons. Critical Role has been a hugely successful Twitch show and podcast where the group plays D&D live each week. The Legend of Vox Machina closely follows their Season 1 campaign. The show became the highest earning Kickstarter for a TV show ever! The animation is incredible, the story is exciting and layered, and a lot of fun whether you play D&D or not. There are deeper references for those of us that have followed the Twitch/podcast, but it's got all of the humor, adventure, twists and turns that you'd want from a fantasy show.
